Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and PhD candidate Janelle Bull will answer our questions regarding issues of midlife and beyond. She will speak to the topics of being 50+... navigating relationships with adult children (and their partners), grief, retirement, marriage after the empty nest, acceptance, and change.

GIGIS GATHER: Building Balance into Our Weeks
Life Coach Shana McLean Moore will lead the group in an interactive goal-setting exercise to build a practice of balance into your week that serves each of your key areas of self. We will focus on goal setting, inspiration, and accountability for more fun, more wellness, more connection, and more learning.

The Gigis Gather: Finding New Interests at 50+
There were bill be light food and drink during our social time from 6:00-6:30.
Then, I will share some inspirational thoughts about the importance of pursuing joy for our overall wellness. After that, we will take part in an ice-breaker activity that will introduce us to fellow Gigis who share our interests.
We will then interact with a panel of fellow Gigis who started interesting new hobbies in their 50s. They will share the how and why these hobbies have expanded their growth at an age when so many people see their lives start to retract.
The goal, as always, will be to expand our sense of purpose and connection so that our lives feel full and meaningful.
